Hi Home-Lovers!

If you’ve been following along this week with my Top 5 House Tour from the USA - you’ll know we’re up to House #3! Now it would make sense to build up to my absolute favourite, best of the best, on Day 5 right? But … I know we’re all super busy and by the time Thursday comes we’re planning for the weekend. So while House #5 on Friday will be amazing, some of you may decide it’s your favourite - today I’m sharing (in my opinion) the SHOW STOPPER!!

So let’s get started with #3!!

GRAND HAVEN

Modern Farmhouse Style House Design and Interior Design

Credit: Homearama - Building Industry Assoc. of Greater Louisville

Builder:  Hardy Builders LLC

Interiors: Bailey at Home

Area:  440m2

The Grand Haven is a stunning Modern Farmhouse both inside and out. Compared to all the other homes (except for House #5 on Friday!!) - I felt the exterior and interior were the most cohesive and harmonious - both in materials and colour palette.

A special shout-out to the Interior Designer - Bailey Pitts from Bailey at Home. She did an amazing job - every room was a treat!

This home features two of my favourite elements - a front porch and sunroom - attached to the side here it steps down the house nicely so not as imposing.

Beyond the front view, there’s so much articulation down the side with dorma windows, separate roofs, outside courtyard and side porch - this homes makes for impressive views no matter where you look!

The kitchen is the perfect accompaniment for the home - elegant and sophisticated, yet warm and welcoming. The display cabinets to the left added such a sparkle to the space, every appliance that could be was integrated behind panel fronts keeping it super crisp. The island counter was in a grey/blue which added warmth and the feature brick walls above the sink and fireplace kept it earthy to suit the farmhouse exterior.

The display cabinet to the side was the star of the room with perfect attention to detail and a sweet wallpaper to the backing.

Off to the side of the kitchen is this gorgeous Scullery - how much fun has the Designer had here?! This would be my happy place! First pic is from the Builder’s website as it was super hard to get a clear shot with sooooo many people around, so small and a bit grainy. The detail pics are mine. The quality of cabinetry and detail was first class!

This beautiful dining room greeted you as you entered the home - it was sooo pretty and added another touch of elegance. The wallpaper selection was clever at adding height to the space and the charcoal floor rug really grounded the light furnishings.

A stunning fireplace and built in display shelving were the focus of the living area with perfect trimwork.

Let’s head upstairs to check out the beautifully styled bedrooms - here’s a few of my favourites scenes.
